With unfavorable winds for most of the passage, we were almost a day later than expected arriving in Grenada. We started seeing the lights of Grenada in the early hours of the morning, and as the sun rose over Grenada a pod of dolphins came to ride our bow for a few minutes. Crew morale was exceptionally high after a long but very enjoyable passage to Grenada, and as soon as we arrived gave Near Enough the appreciation she deserves and gave her a thorough cleaning while Boomer was clearing customs. Shipmates then got a chance to go to shore, stretch their legs and get a first glimpse of Grenada and St. Georges. Some came back on board early to try out windsurfing, and Mark and Eric worked on their balance by doing head stands while Near Enough was rocking in the swells. After dinner we had an OCE class and then went to bed early to recuperate from passage.
