This morning we woke up to the waves rocking sweet Ocean Star around. It was a beautiful sight to see huge swells crashing upon the surrounding bay that we had been anchored in for the past two days. After breakfast we had an introduction to lines and sailing, then by mid-morning we motored over to Leverick Bay to have a quick fill of diesel and provisions. It felt kind of weird to be on land again and even on solid ground it felt like we were still rocking back and forth. After returning to the boat, we motored over to Gorda Sound where we dropped anchor. For our oceanography class we snorkeled in the mangroves to see wee fishlings in their habitat. Today was yet another amazing and fun-filled day on Ocean Star. New sights, new friends, new adventures, what more could a skipper ask for!
