Location: Port Ghalib, Egypt
We had another day in Port Ghalib taking advantage of internet access and showers, with ample of time to catch up on school work. We had Student Leadership presentations and an Oceanography class in the morning, and a Marine Biology class in the afternoon. In between classes we fixed the martingale net, polished belaying pins and baked a cake for Anna’s birthday. Right before dinner we finally received the freshwater pumps that we had been waiting for and are now installing them in the engine room; we’re all set to leave for our 300 nautical mile passage to Port Suez tomorrow morning.
