schoolwork and a sand storm

Mar 31, 2007

Location: Port Suez, Egypt
Author: Brittany
Today we were delayed again from entering the Suez Canal, and so we spent it catching up on sleep and schoolwork. We had a class- filled day and had an oceanography practical with charts of the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea. In the afternoon we experienced a real life sandstorm and got to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner down below (for our first salon squeeze). We were all relieved to have passed in our oceanography projects and got a fair amount of other schoolwork done.
