Today was all about the passage from Nevis to Dominica. We got up at 7am and had yogurt and fruit for breakfast. Then as Dan cleared customs, we finished getting the boat ready. We had to take down the tarp, lash down the benches in the salon and make sure everything was 40-40 (prepared for 40 degrees of heel and 40 knots of wind). We lifted anchor at 9:30am. This passage was not as rough as the previous one. That coupled with some seasick medication contributed to a seasickless voyage, which was great since no one wanted to lose the pizza bagels we had for lunch or the balsamic chicken that Roxie made for dinner. Yum.
