We woke up to a nice breakfast and then waved goodbye to Dominica. We motored up the lee of the island while holding a Marine Biology class. Once we reached the northern tip of Dominica, we hoisted sails and set off on a nice beam reach for the French islands of the Saints. Conditions were perfect and the crew of Ocean Star hoisted all six sails in response. A beautiful day and just when things could get no better, pizza bagels were served for lunch. Upon arrival we hoisted the French flag up the flag halyard and took in the aroma of smelly cheese and fresh bread. Viva la France’!
