relaxation off the South American coast

Feb 9, 2008

Location: underway
Author: Alex
Today was an altogether peaceful and stress free day of passage. It was ideal for my first experience as skipper. We navigated a course that kept us far away enough from the South American shore as well as close enough to land to avoid the turbulent seas our navigation system warned us of. When shipmates weren’t on deck performing their watch duties, they were sitting in the salon writing their student leadership essays. The calm day allowed the crew to catch up on sleep and make way for homework.andlt;br /andgt;andlt;br /andgt;andlt;hr width=’100’/andgt;andlt;div align=’center’andgt;andlt;tableandgt;andlt;trandgt;andlt;tdandgt;andlt;
