Exploring more of St Barth’s

Nov 26, 2008

Location: Anse de Colombier, St Barth’s
Author: Jessica (Beaker) Fry
This morning after breakfast, we had an MTE class on VHF use, in preparation for the Radio Operators exam. We then departed Ile Fourchue at about 10:30 and motored to Anse de Colombier. A secluded bay with a perfect beach, there is no road access, only a small 1 mile path, or by boat. Some went ashore after lunch to explore the bay, others snorkeled, and some buried Chad in the sand! We were back on board by 15:30 and motored around the headland to a more protected anchorage for the night. After dinner we had an OCB class on the Frozen Seas. Looking forward to our sail to Statia tomorrow.andlt;hr width=’100’/andgt;andlt;div align=’center’andgt;andlt;tableandgt;andlt;trandgt;andlt;tdandgt;andlt;
