Day of Adventures

Jun 17, 2010

Location: Navplion, Greece
Author: Claudia Easto
Slowly getting accustomed to the 6:30am wake-up, we painlessly managed to have breakfast, pack lunches, and clean up before departing on a 9 hour day of adventure. Quickly after leaving Argo, we arrived at Tyrins, then Argos, Mycenae, Nemea, Corinth, Akrokorinth, and finally Epidavaros. I know I can speak for all of us when I say that we have never experienced a more beautiful landscape than the Greek countryside. I have to say, the general favorite was Akrokorinth, an ancient citadel strategically built in and on top of a mountain. The breathtaking view at the top, miles and miles of Greek countryside, historical ruins, clear blue oceans, was unbelievable. We had a special dinner of gyros and Greek salad with the most delicious feta. After a tiring two days we are relaxing on shore tonight with Gelato, beaches, and shops. Were having a fantastic time and I cant believe tomorrow will be a week! PS. Charlie needs toothpaste Mrs. Steere
