Location: Underway to Monte Carlo
After a delicious breakfast of french toast and yogurt, Argo’s adventurous crew disembarked the ship for the beautiful sea side town of Portovenere. Wandering the narrow streets lined with colorful buildings and charming ships, the crew discovered Byron’s Grotto, a beautiful rocky alcove of the Mediterranean named for the poet. After a refreshing swim, the crew feasted on Gelato, pesto and bread, and finally returned to Argo. Following a brief swim and saltwater baths, the crew raised sails and set off towards Monte Carlo, the next stop on the European sailing adventure. PS-Scotty had a great day.
