Dragons Really Do Exist

Oct 7, 2010

Location: Barcelona, Spain
Author: Abra Atwood
Today was our third day docked in Barcelona, one of the most incredible cities we’ve been to. People took advantage of the luxurious hot showers, flush toilets and laundry machines this morning before heading over to L’Aquarium to discover sea dragons, octopi and search for the mysterious sunfish (never found). After that, we all went our separate ways to discover the city, heading to La Rambla, Parc Guel or back to Argo to catch up on some precious sleep. Barcelona’s secrets are unlocking themselves to us and we have discovered the cheapest candy and gelato, coolest sights and delicious tapas. We also did a massive provision, filling three cabs of food, mostly canned tomatoes! After meeting bak for the squeeze, five of us cooked ourselves a romantic dinner of pesto pasta and garlic bread while everyone else headed out for dinner in Barcelona and for a night out to experience Barcelona after sunset. Just another incredible day aboard Argo. Sending sunshine and love home!
