Today was an interesting one. Clearing out of customs proved to be significantly easier than coming in. Captain Steve successfully turned all 112 ft of Argo around and out of the small Cuban canal from which we were leaving. We hoisted sails and enjoyed several hours along the Cuban coast before heading out into the ocean blue. OC Casey administered a quiz, and after that we had a pleasant surprise. We watched Finding Nemo, and were assigned a 3 page paper on whether it accurately represents marine life. Deck showers took place, and watch teams started up shortly after. Tonight, the students eagerly begin the assignment, while simultaneously juggling studying for our Meteorology Final for MTE. I leave you there for my final day as Skipper aboard Argo; Tis a sad one.
