It was an early wake up on a dreary morning in Guadeloupe. We were quick to prepare Ocean Star for a passage of 41 nautical miles. We raised our anchor and motored out of Deshaies. As we pulled out of the bay, we stepped up to lead our sail raises and made sure that the staff broke a sweat too. The wind was strong and we had some quality sailing well into our passage, but we would eventually have to motor our way into the historical English Harbour. As a crew, we preformed very well during our second time docking O-Star. Afterwards we stretched our land-legs and walked around one of Britain’s primary ports in the 18th century. Docking is always exciting because of the flushing toilets and showers close by, and tonight we will sleep well without having to watch anchor. Skipper of Day, Josh Miss You All.
