Location: Darwin, Australia
Today was an early start, breakfast by 6:15 am to be ready to be picked up by the tour company. We first went out to a river to watch the jumping saltwater crocs, which were an amazing sight to see, and apparently that river has the highest density of saltwater crocodiles in the world. After the hour-long boat ride we got back on the bus to head to Litchfield National Park. The first stop was a waterfall where we got to go swimming and had lunch. We made a few more stops for views of waterfalls, swimming in cascading pools, and checking out the huge termite mounts (one had to be 15 feet tall!) After the tour we were dropped off at the night market, where there were bands (including an awesome didgeridoo band!), food of almost every style and description, and all the trinkets you might want from Australia. A great last day and evening in Darwin.
