Day 87, and the feels are all around. It's honestly wild how program is coming to a bittersweet end like this, somehow it feels like we've only gotten started still. However, I know how much we all miss our families, friends, and furry friends' faces, yet the family we've made here is another story of its own. It's like I'm missing everyone already, though we're all still together. Funny how that works out. I find that being as present as possible helps with the feelings of early nostalgia. Like how immersed everyone was in the squeeze question tonight, "Worst Pickup Line," and wow, we got some creative answers, lol. Today, we all had a late start to the day, all thanks to my alarm ringing silently for 13 minutes before I was able to jump out of bed...
I think everyone secretly appreciated it, maybe not the staff. After breakfast, we had a little shore activity, taking some small dinghy sailboats out to sail around the harbor. While attempts were made to pirate and capsize each other's boats, unfortunately, none were successful. Afterward, we had lunch back on the boat and French onion soup (shoutout to Las) before embarking on a diving excursion a mile or two down from our anchorage. Finally, we closed out the day with some grass burgers and crinkle-cut fries (courtesy of Allie). Currently writing this in anticipation of a night dive we're about to do, and I need to set up my dive kit. Sea you all later,
