Admissions/Enrollment and Relief Crew

Riley grew up immersed in the world of sailing, spending his early years and teenage life racing dinghies, keelboats, performance catamarans, and other high-performance sailboats. He earned his boating license at age 12, became First Aid/CPR certified by 15, and achieved Level 1 and 2 U.S. Sailing Coach certifications by 17. In high school, Riley also completed a Pre-Engineering Certification and gained hands-on experience building docks and seawalls in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. He has competed in multiple World Championship regattas along the U.S. East Coast and began Olympic training in the Nacra 17 class in 2021. Riley spent four years as a race team coach for a community-based sailing program in Sarasota, Floridawhere he met Travis, Mike, and many members of the GXG office team. In 2021, Riley joined ActionQuest as a mate and has since become a year-round part of the GXG team, working across all its brands as an enrollment advisor. In spring 2024, he earned his 200-ton Yachtmaster certification. Riley is rarely found far from the waterwhether sailing, surfing, fishing, or enjoying nearly any water-based activity. While his background is rooted in high-performance racing, hes passionate about teaching sailing in a way that is both approachable and fun. Beyond sailing, Riley also brings unique experience in organic produce farming and mollusk/crustacean aquaculture across the Southeastern United States.
