GOOD DAY FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!!!!!!
Last night we went out on the town… mixed drinks, salsa dancing, and pizza. The crew learned new dance moves, met fun locals and tried new drinks. Island life is so much fun!!!!!
We woke up this morning to our first rainy day. That meant breakfast below deck!!!!!!!!! A nice switch up from our usual routine. We kickstarted our day with Captain Steve’s super interesting and motivating Marine Bio class, where we were all wide awake 😉
Because of the rain, we stayed below deck and worked on our Oceanography essays (some more than others) or napped. Katie, Celia, and Brahm cooked the crew some delicious Asian noodles, which got them pumped and wide awake for Meg’s awesome leadership presentation. GO MEG!!!!!!! The rest of the afternoon consisted of a dive, more research work, and naps… lots of naps. Everyone is excited to go to shore tomorrow and meet the crew of Vela; we all know which boat is better.
I wish I had more to report today, but the Ocean Star crew had a slow day. It has been a nice change of pace; we will be back to our usual exciting life tomorrow.
CATCH YOU LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
