Location: Durban, South Africa

Today we started the day with a beautiful clear sky and a really nice temperature. We had oceanography and leadership class and, after, a delicious lunch made by our chefs. In the SLS class, we discussed the different stages of group development and talked about how they were applied to our life on Argo. Haley also did her “How To” presentation on photography and showed us her amazing pictures. Then we started our passage prep to Durban, which ended in a quick ice cream run suggested by Cooper. It was exciting to be sailing again as we were on land for several days, although we had gotten used to the boat not constantly rocking under our feet. As we left the marina, we saw some whales up close.
