Location: Gorda Sound, Virgin Gorda
Today was a fun filled, busy day. The morning was a hive of activity around Ocean Star as the shipmates took their nautical science exam – you could hardly see the deck for charts! After lunch we took Hobie Cats to the beach, split into 3 teams (based on the watch teams) and spent an afternoon relay racing the small catamarans around the sound. Watch Team 1 were triumphant, but it was a closely fought match with each watch team winning one race of the heats. In the late afternoon we welcomed Ocean Star’s sister ship, S/Y Argo to Gorda Sound as she motored in to join us. We spent the evening sharing a phenomenal BBQ on Ocean Star before everyone went over to Argo for a tour.
