Today was a very long day. We were up early, at 5:30, to prepare for our hike. We hiked to the boiling lake, up to a height of 3000 ft. Our friend and guide, Pancho, led us the whole way. We arrived back at the boats around 2:30 p.m. After we scheduled our plans for the next week, we prepared for our night out and our first dinner onshore. We had a great dinner at the “Port of Call” and enjoyed a few drinks together. No longer are we just students on a ship. We are a crew, and I am looking forward to spending the next 35 days with everyone here.
