Location: Deshaies, Guadeloupe
This morning started ealier than usual with the crew up before sunrise and off to Pigeon island for a dawn dive. The divers enjoyed the darkness and night creatures for the first half of the dive and were still underwater as the sky started to lighten and the sun made its appearance. Upon return from the dive we had a hearty breakfast and made our way to Deshaies in the North of Guadeloupe, where we had a nautical science class. After a few hours on shore to enjoy French delicacies for the last time for a few weeks, the crew returned to Ocean Star to prepare the boat for our night passage to Antigua. We went to bed early after dinner to catch a few hours of sleep and all woke up a little before midnight to raise anchor and enjoy the passage under the stars.
