Location: Deshaies, Guadeloupe
The day started out with a lot of excitement, seeing as the wind was blowing 50 knots and we were dragging anchor. Luckily, someone was on diligent anchor watch, and we managed to get the anchor up and motored from Pigeon Island to Deshaies, where it was more sheltered. Once we were settled, some people went diving while others did some homework. The afternoon consisted of shore time and a double MTE class. After class, we got the boat ready to sail, which was followed by always delicious brekkie for dinner. The evening was rounded out with a Marine bio class, followed by a Blue Planet DVD.
