Today after breakfast, the (now) divemasters began finishing their final tasks before finally getting certified, which included teaching discover scuba diving and snorkeling to students who had to pretend like they didn’t know what they were doing. They also had to do an 800 m snorkel and a 200m diver tow, as well as complete their rescue scenario and search and recovery dives. The rest of us started packing away our belongings out of our cubbies and bunks, while groups went out to dive their final dive at a site called the playgrounds. After dinner we celebrated Joaquin, Evan and Cole officially becoming divemasters with some delicious brownies. After dinner we listened to a story read by Tor, which involved the writing of nice note cards to everyone on board. We then watched an amazing (and for some tear-jerking) video produced by Carolyn. Everyone stayed up late working on their cards and when they finished, turned them into the chart house and went to sleep.
