Location: Pigeon Island, Guadeloupe
Ok! Check it! Today was good. We started the day on the stern with banana pancakes listening to the song by Jack Johnson with the same name. We then dove in the Jacques Cousteau Marine Park, which served as our Underwater Naturalist dive for our Advanced Certification. There was some chill time following the dives and then lunch. Post lunch was our first academic marathon, with 3 classes this afternoon. We enjoyed some great Boomer stories in MTE and listened to each others presentations in OCE, then a movie session for a nightcap of MTE (the second Erving Johnson video). The biggest accomplishment of the day for us on Ocean Star was establishing the new found importance of appreciating local island mesh wear. Look out for a mandatory mesh day in the days to come. Tomorrow Deshaise.
