Location: English Harbour, Antigua

We are off to a late start at 11:30 this morning unless you were up early to begin chores. Correction: what was accomplished in the blistering heat today wasn’t chores but “Boat Appreciation” for Argo and her service to us.
A great service indeed. I don’t know if anyone anticipated how much goes into getting a group of 24 from Antigua to Dominica, how much damage such a group can do in the course of a week, and especially how richly rewarding the experience can be. All adventures concluded at the moment; BA extended into the late afternoon with thorough deck scrubbings, dark bilge pumping, and wiping everything in sight. By the time Argo was sparkling again, we were well ready for showers, Antiguan pizza in the harbor, and a bit of Swizzle, the “`talentless talent show.” Our show concluded the night with shanties, poems, drums, magic, and a substantial amount of Hamilton parodies. We couldn’t be more grateful for Argo and her crew as we settle to bed from our long day and all-too-short adventure.
