Location: Falmouth Harbour, Antigua
Last night, we started our first night of anchor watch rotations. From 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., we rotated hourly to stand watch on the boat. Although waking up was difficult, the salty night breeze and the clear moonlight made it all worthwhile. In the morning, people who already have their diving certifications went on our first dive. It was a short and shallow dive, mostly to check for skills. After lunch, people who are currently completing their open water certifications went on their first confined water dive. After three days of tedious video watching, they were finally able to put the books in action and experience the wonderful underwater world! With the excitement of the first day of diving, we are adjusted to our new home, and we look forward to the adventures that await us.
