Location: Agadir, Morocco

After a fantastic night’s sleep in our “tents,” most of the Argo crew enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at our campsite (fully equipped with an omelet bar!) in the Atlas Mountains, just outside of Marrakech. Following breakfast, some made their way to the activities tent to choose from anything such as zip-lining, high ropes courses, and cycling. Sadly the horses were taking a day off, so riding through the mountains was not an option. Sorry, Beasley. Those who did not indulge in organized activities chose to relax by the pool, and take part in some futbol and ping-pong with local kids. It was time for our glamping (glamour camping) trip to come to an end, and we piled into our two vans and began the four-hour ride back to Agadir and Argo. Upon our arrival was the smell of a delicious dinner of curry chicken and lamb prepared by our own Skipper. Indian curry, not the Moroccan curry we experienced at the chemist the previous day. Everyone is wiped out and will be up late studying for the OCE midterm tomorrow. We will be sailing to the Canary Islands for the next three days, so stay tuned for our next post! Also, the Argo crew has already raised $1025 towards Movember, so thank you so much and keep spreading the good donation word. We’ll be at sea for the next three days, so we’ll keep working on the mo’s, and hopefully have photo evidence in a few days.
