Location: Statia
We started our day in Statia by splitting our crew into two groups, the open-water divers and the advanced open-water divers. The open-water divers went scuba diving early in the morning while the other group got to go to shore and have breakfast; they also explored the island and saw some amazing views of the bay from the upper part of the island. Around noon the groups switched, and the advanced divers completed their deep dive and saw some amazing shipwrecks that were full of life. During this time, the open water divers got their shore time. Some went hiking, while others just explored the island and got food. At the end of the day, the whole crew got together for dinner and celebrated Maddie’s birthday! We had a great time and finished up the night by getting the boat ready for our sail tomorrow morning to Nevis.
