Location: Union Island
Today started a little bit earlier than expected when a squall hit Ocean Star at 5am. The crew were quickly up on deck taking down the shade canopy and relaying the anchor in the pouring rain, and the situation was placed rapidly back on track with a hearty breakfast of pancakes and bacon. We departed Carriacou and headed towards Union Island our first stop in the Grenadines, for some shore leave wandering around the town and sampling the local fruits from small market stalls. Over the course of the afternoon everyone returned to Ocean Star for a synchronized diving session combined with shower time, followed by a phenomenal cake to celebrate Tyler’s 21st birthday. Another great day in the Caribbean!
