Location: Underay to Dominica
Woken up at 4 in the morning for watch can sometimes be a brutal experience, filled with sleepiness. But this morning, Kelly and I were in the galley prepping desserts for THANKSGIVING. I was working on my grandmother’s pecan pie recipe while Kelly made Oreo truffles. We anticipated the processes to only take us about an hour. However, we stepped out of the galley 4 hours later, smelling of sugary goodness. The rest of the day was filled with MTE class, OCB class, and advanced diver class. Before settling down for the night, we had a delicious dinner of pork chops and applesauce. Everyone is looking forward to Thanksgiving, which will, of course, be jam-packed with food, food, and hand turkey drawings. I hope everyone is doing well at home. Happy Thanksgiving! P.S. We found out today that we have made our turn to Dominica. YAY!
