Location: Tenerife, Canary's

Walking into the galley this morning, we were met with the smell of frying bacon and eggs, and our chefs were hard at work to bring us another delicious breakfast. This beautiful 75-degree day in Tenerife was kicked off with the continuation of our Emergency First Responder course. This is where we learn to quickly assess a situation and determine what the following procedures are in the case of an emergency. We learned how to identify vital signs, tie a triangle sling, and even make a splint. With our Atlantic crossing quickly coming up, we only have our ‘scenario season’ left to practice and conclude our emergency training. After our EFR class, we were turned loose to have an onshore day to ourselves. Some chose to get massages, while others chose to relax on the beach. Sean, Liam, and I chose to explore the town near our port and even found a mall while we tried some local cuisine. After we had our fun, the crew gradually began returning to Argo for dinner. When we headed down into the galley, we were met again with the wonderful smell of food heating up the galley. Our chefs were back at work to bring us another delicious dinner while the sun set on another beautiful day in Tenerife. For our squeeze question, we all came up with a new word to add to the English dictionary. Shout out, Erik.
