Location: Underway to Fiji
I’ll keep it short. Today we jibed first thing after the sun rose. We then enjoyed a lunch of leftovers from previous meals. That led to more Emergency First Responder Training (EFR); we took our written exam and practiced accessing and acting out scenarios. After deck-showers, Giselle, the head chef today, and her galley crew made tropical bbq tacos for everyone to enjoy. Lastly, to finish out the day, we spoke about a skill we each would like to learn during the squeeze.
This next part is letters from all the Argonauts. Since we have reached the halfway point of this passage, I figured everyone would like to send out a brief message. Sorry in advance if some of the messages were lost in translation between what I was given and what I typed out. Enjoy reading them, and I hope you all have a great day!
Frankie: Hi mom and dad, I miss you SO much! The passage is awesome — I can’t believe this experience is real. Send my love to Sophia, Lee, Camille, Bella, and Rocco. XOXO Frankie.

Adelaide, this is making me so excited for all of our adventures. Dad, sorry, but you have no choice, we’re sailing an ocean together someday. Niko: Hi everyone! Sending lots of love 2700 miles into our Pacific crossing–it’s been an unbelievable ride so far. I’m holding out hope that I’ll get to Fiji, and Stefan and Alex will have convinced Mom and Dad to get a new puppy in the last month. My phone will be blowing up with pictures–but I think I’ll be settling for reading the March Madness group chat instead (which is bound to also be entertaining). Alex, I can’t wait to hear about how the campus has been as it’s warmed up and sending only good thoughts as you come into the home stretch of what has been a crazy second year of college. Stefan, I am thinking about your school season a lot–I hope you’re in the middle of it and dominating. Mom and Dad, good luck in the election(s)!, and Nona, Deda, Uncle V, Uncle Braco, Aunt Vilma, and everyone else who might be reading: I miss you more than you know and can’t wait to see you in person so very soon!
