Location: Underway to Kumai
Today our watch has been a bit more eventful, with more boats and fishing nets around. This was important to make sure we didn’t wrap our propeller in any net. We went through the night, passing all nets the fishermen left out for us with no problems. The rest of the night till now has been smooth sailing, with the occasional tugboat or fishing vessel motoring by in this vast blueness. The wind has picked up a little, making for a slightly bigger swell but nothing that the Argo and her new crew can’t handle. It made showering more difficult/fun from the constant swaying. There were a couple of slips on deck from the wet soapy surface, but everyone on board had a great attitude about it. We had cereal and fruit for breakfast, tomato soup, grilled cheese for lunch, and chicken curry for din. Today was another good day.
