Location: Virgin Gorda, BVI
Today was quite a busy day, We started off with breakfast in Gorda Sound, and as soon as clean up was done, we picked up the anchor and headed off to The Dogs to dive an airplane wreck. It was a lot of fun for the certified divers, and it was the last dive needed for the new divers to complete their Open Water Certification. After everyone surfaced from the dive, we moved Ocean Star again, this time to a little town by the name of Spanish Town. Here we ate lunch, which was a nice change from eating on the boat and allowed us a little time to pick up some supplies (snacks) for our upcoming passage. We did not say too long because the last stop of the day was The Baths, which is one of my favorite places to go and explore in the BVI’s. Here we climbed rocks, walked in paths underneath the rocks, waded, and swam to our hearts’ content. I split up from the group with a few people and climbed to the highest rock in the area. After admiring the view, we climbed down and headed for a nice ten-or-so-foot rock to jump off. After a long day, we made it back to Ocean Star for some dinner. After dinner, we gathered to watch a sailing movie and then got some much-needed rest to prepare for the big day ahead,
