Barbuda’s beaches were beautiful, similar to that of the East Coast, Long Island. We had a terrific dinghy ride over to the little settlement on the island, which was an adventure in itself. We had to beach the dinghy and drag it the 100 yards over the beach to the lagoon in order to get to the town, and then do the same ting on the way back. After an afternoon class we prepped Ocean Star for the passage. Shortly after dinner we left for one of our last night passages. We left Barbuda in a small storm which added to the excitement. Our watch happily intruded into Thanksgiving, and was glad to see the skies clear. After an awesome downwind passage we arrived early in St. Barths and gave Ocean Star a much needed Boat Appreciation. .
