Location: Underway to Saba

Hey everyone!! Today was a super exciting day. One, it was Alev’s Birthday (YAYY!!), and two, it was a passage day. This morning, we finished our oceanography group presentations. Exciting but sad class is over. After that, it was time for anchors to be up. We left St. Barths around 10 am. It was a super windy sail day. That’s a good thing. The wind was killer. We also did some sail training as we started passing St. Eustatius on our way. We practiced jibing, which basically means flipping the sails from one side to the other as the wind passes across our stern. Or from port to starboard side, I shall say. We have classics coming up. We are so gonna win. We had pancakes and bacon for breakky, pasta alfredo with chicken, and some veggies for dinner. We had some delicious tiramisu to celebrate Alev. Saba had some killer views sailing up to where we are mooring. Saba is beautiful, very mountainous, or just a large hill (whichever perspective you would like to take on the debate). Shoutout to chefs and bakers from today. Anywho, that was our day. Hope you had a great one.
