Location: Fitzroy, Island
On our last day anchored off Fitzroy Island, a group of adventures, and early risers, kicked off the day with a trip to shore before the sun came up. We hiked up to Secret Garden, neither secret nor garden, and went for an early morning swim at Nudey Beach (don’t worry, it’s not what you think). When we got back to the boat, breakfast was already underway, and afterward, the crew split up into their different dive groups. The advanced class had a checkout dive going over skills, while the open water class finished off their PADI videos and went to shore. We had some free time after lunch, and the crew enjoyed grabbing some snacks from the general store. The day ended with our first oceanography class, and everyone is excited to depart for Lowe Isles tomorrow.
