Location: Santa Cruz, Galapagos
After clearing in late last night the crew of Argo woke up this morning eager to explore the island of Santa Cruz. The morning began with an excursion to the Charles Darwin Research Center to admire some giant tortoises and marine iguanas. Following the educational visit there was a little bit of time to explore the island. Lots of shopping, basking in the sun, and internet usage has kept everyone busy enough to keep up with the local island speed. Sea lions are all around the island and trips to the beach kept everyone somewhat cool in the intense heat. This beautiful island still has much more to offer us over the next few days!
