Location: Soufriere, St. Lucia
After the overnight passage to St. Lucia, we finally put down the anchor at 7:45am. Following a breakfast of Blueberry muffins we started a much needed Boat Appreciation. Despite little sleep after lunch we went on a tour of the Island. The first stop was the Botanical Gardens, which was full of native plants and a waterfall that was a used in the movie ‘Romance in the Stone’. The next stop was the only ‘Drive in Volcano’ in the Caribbean. The final stop for the tour was at the hot springs of the Pitons and a nice fresh water swim. Everybody enjoyed the tour and is looking forward to exploring St. Lucia a little more.
