Location: Soufriere to Rodney Bay, St. Lucia
My morning as skipper is always beautiful when Matty and Danny start it out with biscuits and gravy. MTE right afterward was mathematically engaging; we were learning the different aspects of charting a course, specifically how to calculate a true heading from a compass heading and vice versa. A brief motor from Soufriere to Rodney left us with a full afternoon of study time to catch up on essay assignments and regular homework from all our different classes. After a beautiful dinner of mango-seasoned chicken, Laurie let us watch Finding Nemo in exchange for good grades on our midterms, ending the day of hard study on a relaxing note. Popcorn was included in the mix and was greatly appreciated by all. Thank you, Staff! Well, good day and good night all.
