Hello!
Long time no see! Hope all is well in your world because it is in ours!
The crew had an early start to our morning, as we were moving from Portsmouth to Roseau bright and early. Those who were not already awake were awoken by the sound of the anchor chain being raised at the ripe hour of 6:30 am! Unfortunately for those who tried to savor those last 30 minutes of sleep, I made my way around the boat, waking everyone else up. Chia seed pudding ala Steph was then served for breakfast. After a bit of motoring and lots of schoolwork time, we arrived in Roseau. Lunch consisted of black bean burgers and fries, filling the crew up before another wonderful leadership class led by Kate. Following the post-leadership swim, those working for their EFR certification had their last class before the exam! As class dispersed, we heard the rain start. Downpour. Absolutely no surfaces left un-drenched. It didn’t matter much, though, as one by one, we all cannonballed into the sea. Dinner shortly followed, a wonderful curry with the most amazing homemade naan EVER! After dinner, the advanced open water class has its very last knowledge review before our advanced certification!
Dominica is absolutely beautiful so far, and I am SO excited to explore!

I miss you all at home so much! Until next time!!
