This morning I woke up at 5 am to head up on deck for the final watch of the evening with Emily. The view was pretty incredible. We were able to point out many constellations, and the hour went by pretty quickly. Breakfast was served at 7:30 (we eat like kings!). Following breakfast, we had our introduction to Oceanography and Marine Biology session. After our session, we all went ashore and took a stroll around to learn a little something about science classes. Our classroom is the Ocean! That’s pretty sweet. At 12, we had lunch, and those of us who were not yet scuba-certified headed out for our second dive. Each of us took turns practicing different maneuvers. It was a good time. When we returned, some of us went for a quick swim and shower in the ocean while others pulled out a good book or card game. We did a few “chores,” but nothing felt like work because we all did it together. Around six, we had dinner, and we are now getting ready for our Intro to sailing courses!!!! I think I am most excited about that aspect of the trip. So far, life on a sailboat is awesome. Everyone gets along great, and we’re all having fun getting to know each other. That sums up another fun and busy day on Argo! -Jen M., skip of the day
