Are you for Scuba? The crew of Argo is! Today all of our shipmates dawned scuba gear and completed their first confined water dives as part of their open water diver training. To avoid the boat traffic in this vacation destination, our fearless captain and heroic first mate launched our dinghy and took off to find a quiet secluded beach where the new divers could focus on their coursework. With a bit of luck, they found one a short distance away, and the first round of Cousteaus set out in our tenders and breathed underwater for the first time. After a hearty lunch of Mighty Mac, the second group headed out to complete their diving. Upon their return, all the dive gear was cleaned, and the tanks were filled in preparation for tomorrow’s undersea adventures.
