Location: Underway to Mauritius
What’s up? We are back, and we’re still on passage to Mauritius. The days keep rolling by so quickly, and it’s already day 10 of the passage. The 10-day streak of sailing has ended with the wind not being in our favor, and we are back to motoring. Over these ten days, my breakfast has changed from a nice mix of cereal or oats with some peanut butter, Nutella, and protein powder to 2 ramen packets in one bowl; sorry, Mom and Dad, it’s too good to pass up on. Everyone’s been holding up very well through this passage as we completed a large portion of it. We’re all doing our own things and trying to get busy, whether it’s studying for an upcoming exam or getting some work done, reading a book, talking to friends on the boat, or having gossip sessions. Today, we started off with Griffin’s great meal for lunch: BBQ pork sandwiches with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cole slaw, which was all deliciouswe had a few classes today, like oceanography, which was a tiring lecture for everyone, with being packed with a lot of marine biology work and exam studies to finish before arriving at Mauritius. Then we had a navigation master class to help teach us how to navigate across maps and count current for the travel, too, which is helpful. Shout out to my nav master partner, Allie. Our plotting skills are too good. We then cut to another good meal made by Griffin, chili, and rice, which was great and was a fun dinner we had to end off the day. It was a blast, can’t wait to get to Mauritius. Hi to all my family reading the blog. Hope everything is going good with you all!
