Location: Green Island, Antigua
Today began with an intensive sail prep followed by a 10nm motor to the east side of Antigua. The trip was a little rough and quickly took the steam out of some of the crew. It is an amazing sight to see the boat crash and dig into swells. While underway we had a short GPS failure, but Mandy and Stephen jumped to the rescue with some sound chart work and a very entertaining bread regatta to determine the speed of the boat. Once we carefully made our way through the wreck and the reefs we dropped both anchors and we very efficiently set up Camp Ocean Star’. After our work was complete windsurfers were set up, swims were taken and some took advantage of the beach. All-in-all another great day in the Caribbean.
