Day One!
Location: New York City
Hey guys!! I’m Stella, and today I’m skipper. Alex, Nate, and I have been on this boat for about 3 weeks so far, and we’re sooo excited for this next leg. We’ve been getting ready for everyone these past two days, so it’s fun to finally see everyone. The first person to arrive was Giles, and slowly more people began to filter in. I went with Sam (a staff member) to retrieve Ellery, Ellory, Declan, and Christian from the gate. The security on the pier is crazy. Max and Bryce also came with their families. I talked to Lorelai, Oona, Ellery, Ellory, and Ophelia, and they were all nice. As I am writing this, Julia has not gotten here yet, so we are awaiting her arrival. I know I’m pretty sure she is from Norway, so that’s very cool. Max was on my boat last year, so it was fun to catch up with him. We did passage prep before dinner, and Matt, Declan, Noah, Wilkes, Christian, Henry, and Bryce helped pull the boom up, so it’ll be easier to raise the sails tomorrow when we actually start sailing. Jerry, Ridge, and Forbes came around dinner. Sorry, this was a pretty boring day, so there’s not much to write about. It was fun to meet everyone, and you will get a more exciting blog tomorrow.
