PADI Diving Instructor, Deckhand
Jack is from Annapolis, Maryland, where he grew up sailing and spending as much time on the water as possible. His passion for the ocean developed early and grew through hands-on experience in both sailing and diving. In 2023, Jack joined a Seamester voyage from Fiji to Bali, which sparked his interest in expedition-style learning and life at sea. Since then, Jack has taken on roles including captain, mate, dive sta, and medical ocer on sailing programs in the Caribbean. Jack has led teenagers on multi-week trips, teaching sailing, snorkeling, and onboard living while maintaining a strong focus on safety, and has also completed offshore passages, including a voyage from Baja California to San Francisco. Jack is currently studying nursing and public health at Fairfield University, which strengthens his background in patient care and safety. Jack has recently completed his PADI Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor Training and is looking forward to building on his years of assisting courses as a Divemaster. Additionally, he holds multiple STCW basic safety training certifications, as well as Wilderness First Responder and EMT training.
