Today was a really fun day; we had a bunch of crazy weather. The waves were crashing over the chart house and absolutely soaking us, and the rain was just pouring on us for a couple of hours. My watch started at 8, but it was a crazy fun watch. We saw a pod of dolphins, and they spent like three minutes just hanging out about ten feet off the side of the boat. We also got to do a ton of sail handling, which was super fun. While all that was happening, Chris, Noah, and Fin were making frittata for lunch. Around halfway through lunch, watch team one relieved us. After lunch was finished, there were quite a few seasick visitors to the stern, and watch team one was relieved at 2 pm by watch team two. During their watch, the rain lightened up a lot, and the waves got a bit better. Most of today consisted of chilling down below, letting the waves spray us, and being on watch. Since it was so wavy, we had to put up our Lee cloth to keep us in bed with the waves pushing the boat around.
For dinner, Chris, Noah, and Fin made chicken and rice with seasoned beans, which were very good. Now were all finishing up our jobs, and then well probably hang out for a bit and then go to bed or watch.
