The Quiet Before the Storm
Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Hi! Some of us started our day completing our hour of anchor watch in the middle of the night. Everyone has an hour shift each night at anchor with one other person. Finn, Blake, and Nate spent most of the night protecting our boat and keeping us company. We are eternally grateful. Everyone else woke up at 7am for a Turkish egg breakfast. Afterwards, we did our normal clean up of dishy pit, cleaning the decks, and cleaning up the kitchen. Then, half of us went on a morning dive where we saw tons of fish. “What a terrific day” said Iris after her dive, After Caesar salad for lunch, the other half of us went on the dive while the others read, tanned, or zested. Macy, Stella, and I had a peaceful ride while Blake and Chloe tried to flip us. We did some sailing prep, getting ready for our first day of sailing tomorrow. We ended the night with delicious Jenny Anny salad and chocolate chip banana bread. Now we are all cleaning up and getting ready for bed. We get to go on shore tomorrow, so expect calls!
