Safety is Fun

Location: Bali

The first full day is coming to an end after lots of talking, learning the ropes (literally), and bonding. Today we woke up to an amazing Bali sunrise and pancakes thanks to Nat, Wynn, and August waking up at 5:30 in the morning. Last night we had our first round of anchor watches, which went by very smoothly, although I actually had to run out onto the dock at 2:30 am last night to meet my bag delivery that came in from the airport. Thankfully, all my stuff is here in one piece! We had our first classes today as well, where we did mostly course overviews, and most of us started studying for scuba diving certifications. Also, we did lots of safety overviews and a thorough boat walk-through to make sure we can have so much fun. Everyone is finding their places on board and settling into this new boat life. The whole crew and staff seem to be in high spirits, and we are super excited to go to a new place tomorrow. So many adventures to come in the future, and Im very glad these are the people I’m going to be sharing this with.

Sincerely,
Banks Jr
